Doc Bagley | Four Winds Forge
As a blacksmith, I have been working with metal for thirty - plus years, having learned the trade while shoeing horses on a ranch in Wyoming and later, here in Vermont. I enjoyed the forge work required to make horseshoes and so began creating both functional and decorative items.
My shop is located in South Strafford, VT where I create custom forgings and fabrications of all shapes and sizes from bottle openers and chandeliers to garden gates and thrones.
I enjoy collaborating with my customers to incorporate their design preferences into the creation of a piece that bears a balanced, enduring elegance - the hallmark of an artist-blacksmith’s work.
